Sing, Dance and Play

Arts Night 2014

Fairview celebrated Arts Night on the 17th. The Kinderchor and the Band performed. My favorite song performed by the choir was “Live Like a Warrior” by Matisyahu and I really enjoyed the Band’s performance of Bugler’s Dream-Olympic Fanfare.

The modern dance groups also performed. The younger class performed first dressed in blue and then Vita’s group second in yellow and pink. The blue group danced to Pharrell’s “Happy” and Vita’s group danced to Ne-yo’s “Let’s Go”.  I posted a video of some of Vita’s performance a little while ago.

The program was an hour-long and I enjoyed every bit of it. It was a little sad to see the sixth grader’s (set apart by the blue shirts) sing for one of the last times in the choir. Next year they will all move on to different schools. It’s amazing how quickly these years are flying by.

Fairview Arts Night

I have more pictures to share but I wanted to post this video of Vita and her modern dance class.  They performed tonight at Fairview Arts Night along with the band and choir.  She did such a good job!
