Cincinnati Cyclones Game

This weekend we went to the Cincinnati Cyclones v. Fort Wayne Komets game and had a lot of fun.  It was Throwback Jersey and Teddy Bear Toss Night.  We had awesome seats and there were only five seats to a row so it was just us.  No need to hop up and down for other people to get through the aisle.  The kids had such a great time.  The games are fast paced and fun for kids because there is always something going on.  A giveaway in the stands, clapping, singing, dancing and  fun characters performing on the ice.  Not to mention the hockey!  We’ve went a couple of times before, the last firm I worked at had a box at the arena and no one really used it during hockey season, so we would go then.  We’ve also went before through Fairview when they did a student night.  The seats we had Saturday night were by far the best.  Being that close to the rink makes it easier to be involved with the crowds and man those pucks and bodies are loud when they slam into the glass.  Here are some pictures from the game:

My favorite moment is always right before the puck is dropped.

It was Teddy Bear night. Everyone brought new or gently used bears and through them on the ice after the Cyclones first goal. The kids were excited to throw theirs into the rink.

The Cincinnati Police then drove their cruiser onto the ice and collected up the bears to give to needy kids.

Trying to yell loud enough ti get a free t-shirt. I apologize to the people that were in front of us. There is nothing quite like a shrill, air piercing scream of little girls.

I did not wear the mask to the game. The mask is completely Blackburn's. I was just allowed to borrow it for this picture.

If you’re in Cincinnati and have a chance to attend a Cyclones game, please do so.  It really is a blast!
